I love painting my simple yet striking designs on pots, so I decided to also paint on ceramic tiles – and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
These framed picture tiles will make a wonderfully original addition to your home. They’ll also make a great, unique gift for bird lovers.
The tile itself measures 10,5 x 10,5 cm. It’s painted with black underglaze over a white slip and glazed with transparent glaze for a glossy finish.
The frame comes with a hook and a stand, giving you a choice when it comes to displaying the tile.
I have made them in pairs, like a pair of lovebirds, facing each other.
